Ask and you shall receive
Incredible. In the last 24 hours we have had two landlords commit to working with The Stable Foundation. One has a rental unit on a busline in Athens for $350 / mo. and the other has a two bedroom house in Oconee County for $400 / mo. Both landlords believe strongly in providing affordable housing and back it up with action.
With our first fundraiser next month, we may be able to place two families in March rather than just one as we had hoped.

Our First Fundraiser is Feb 16
A big thank you to The Georgia Poker Club and Dee Simbro who have allowed us to be the fundraiser for their quarterly regional tournament. It is Saturday, Feb. 16 at Lucky Dawg Billiards on Mitchell Bridge Road, in Athens. There is a qualifying tournament that is free and open to the public at 1pm. The main event is at 5pm. At both events players can donate $10 or $20 (or more) and receive additional chips.
All donations will be used to place our first family into housing starting March 1.
